About the Founder
Before founding LinkSpeed, our founder spent over a decade working inside the UK telecom industry — first on the provider side, then as a consultant advising businesses on their connectivity. What became clear over those years was just how opaque and confusing the business broadband market really is. Providers design contracts to maximise lock-in, not to deliver value. Small and medium-sized businesses — shops, restaurants, offices, warehouses — were consistently overpaying for connections that underdelivered, trapped in renewal cycles with little transparency and even less leverage.
That frustration became the founding mission of LinkSpeed. We built the company to be the broker we wished had existed: genuinely independent, completely transparent, and aligned entirely with the customer. There are no preferred providers, no hidden commissions, and no pushy sales tactics. We compare the full market — from BT and Virgin to regional alt-nets and fibre specialists — and recommend only what is right for each business. Our revenue comes from the provider side, so our clients pay nothing for the expertise they receive.
